We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in analyzing project costs and ensuring accurate estimates that drive our success. What You’ll Do
- Review project documentation, including blueprints, construction plans, contracts, and specifications.
- Perform bid takeoffs and prepare formal cost proposals.
- Analyze and track key metrics to create precise and competitive estimates.
- Research and obtain market pricing to provide clients with accurate rates.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of unit prices.
- Minimize discrepancies between estimated and actual project costs.
- Ensure quality and compliance by adhering to company standards.
- Participate in bid reviews and provide valuable insights for project success.
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in construction estimation (building renovation preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with ProEST or Autodesk Take Off or other software is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
