Warehouse Maintenance Technician
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Starting Pay:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Warehouse Maintenance Technician supports daily maintenance, repair, and light construction needs across our warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone with a general trades background, including carpentry, construction, or mechanical skills, who is comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform general construction, carpentry, and facility repair work (framing, concrete patching, drywall repairs, fixture installs, etc.).
- Assist with assembling, installing, or dismantling warehouse structures, racking, fixtures, and work areas.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely (saws, drills, lifts, compactors, etc.).
- Handle and move materials, including loading/unloading supplies and staging materials for projects.
- Complete general warehouse and grounds maintenance such as cleaning, debris removal, minor repairs, and upkeep inside/outside the facility.
- Follow instructions, read basic diagrams/measurements, and assist with project layout or setup.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas while adhering to safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Communicate issues, hazards, or repair needs to leadership and document work as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of construction, carpentry, or general trades experience (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tools, measurements, and basic mechanical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to read or interpret simple blueprints or work orders.
- Dependable work ethic with ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Frequent climbing, bending, standing, and moving for extended periods.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
