Our team is looking to hire an Operations and Client Service Coordinator that specializes in administrative and client service to ensure the maintenance of an efficient, organized practice. The Operations and Client Service Coordinator is a liaison between Dan, his clients, and Northwestern Mutual’s home office.

Compensation includes base salary plus bonuses, and the ability to get base salary raises for additional licenses and specialization.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Calendar management
- Setting new client meetings
- Reviewing and following up on case notes
- Maintaining and preparing client files and marketing materials
- Use proprietary software to prepare clients’ financial plans adhering to the advisor’s planning philosophy
- Completing insurance and investment applications/paperwork
- Handling daily correspondence and service requests with clients
- Scheduling and tracking medical exams
- Communicating with underwriters and tracking daily status reports
- Special projects revolving around client appreciation and acquisition
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information to update their plan
- Prepare necessary paperwork to implement recommendations
- Run and analyze performance reports in Envestnet, Morningstar, NMCIR etc.
- Track future rollover opportunities
- Handle incoming service requests from clients regarding their accounts
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) with strong typing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and strengthen client relationships
- Desire and capacity to further financial education and credentials
- Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner
- High analytical orientation
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Administrative support and/or customer service experience
- Experience in financial services industry or knowledge of insurance/investments
- Minnesota state life, accident, and health insurance licensed
- Series 6 or 7 and 63 investment licensed
