Veterinary Client Service Coordinator

Two practice, 4 doctor clinic looking to add a full-time client service coordinator to our family. Looking for someone who is honest, a team player, punctual, customer-centric, eager to learn, etc. The Client Service Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians, performing various reception duties, care of the Hospital and its equipment, and other duties assigned at the discretion of the Hospital Manager.

Major Duties include:

• Greeting clients and their pets
• Checking clients in and out for their scheduled appointments
• Answering phone calls
• Setting up appointments for clients
• Answering clients questions not including those best left to the DVM
• Determining when a client’s pet needs to be seen or when it is appropriate for the DVM to handle the phone call
• Making appointment reminder and follow-up calls to clients as directed by the Hospital Manager
• Maintaining patient records
• Documenting phone conversations and recommendations made to the client
• Performing tasks that help maintain client communications as directed by the Hospital Manager or DVM
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby area (including the public bathrooms and file area) as assigned by management.
• Assisting the DVM and Veterinary Technicians with basic restraint in the treatment area of the hospital during basic procedures
• Care of the Hospital and its equipment
• Perform basic daily housekeeping tasks.

Perform other tasks or procedures as directed by the DVM or Hospital Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
