Teach Legal Assistant and Paralegal Studies courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus as directed by the program supervisorPrepare and grade written and practical examinationsAttend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the CollegeDress professionally in accordance with the faculty dress codePerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedAll other duties as assigned
Legal Assistant and Paralegal Studies Instructor Experience
REQUIRED:Minimum of three years of non-overlapping experience in the legal field with a Paralegal Studies degree or a degree in a related field orMinimum of three years of non-overlapping experience in the legal field with completion of a Paralegal Studies training program (can be diploma-level if it covers the same topic areas as NCC) PLUS a degree.Nevada State Law experience

Proficient in Google Workspace (G Suite) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and general Microsoft Office applicationsMinimum typing speed of 45 words per minuteComfortable teaching in both in-person and online/virtual learning environmentsAbility to work effectively with diverse populationsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingKnowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques
