Teach dental assisting courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus as directed by the program supervisorPrepare and grade written and practical examinationsAttend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the College.Dress professionally in accordance with the faculty dress codePerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills And Qualifications
Must have a minimum of two years of work experience in the dental assisting field (with diploma, degree, or certificate).Must have a minimum of three years of work experience in the dental assisting field (WITHOUT diploma, degree, or certificate).Successful completion of High School, its equivalent, or a state-authorized examination certificate is required.Successful completion of a Dental Assistant or diploma training program is preferred but not required.Must be willing to take the RDA exam if you are not certifiedAbility to work effectively with diverse populationsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingKnowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques
