Ground Person

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ground Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various landscaping and tree care operations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. As a Ground Person, you will assist in maintaining landscapes, performing tree trimming, and operating equipment safely and efficiently.

Duties
- Assist in the operation of bucket trucks for tree trimming and maintenance tasks.
- Support crew members by preparing and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Participate in landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, gardening, and plant growth management.
- Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and working on-site.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently.
- Utilize GIS technology for mapping and planning landscaping tasks when necessary.

Requirements
- Experience with rigging techniques and bucket truck operation is preferred.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and gardening.
- Familiarity with tree trimming techniques and safety measures.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for operating company vehicles.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and tree care operations.
