Registered Nurse - Minor Procedures

Role Summary

This position involves practicing professional nursing by performing independent and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive patient care through health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical judgment. The nurse builds strong relationships with patients, actively assesses their needs, and responds promptly to provide appropriate care.

Key Duties

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and emergency policies, maintaining patient safety during medication administration, procedures, and infection prevention.
• Assess health status by collecting and analyzing subjective and objective data, identifying problems, and developing care plans.
• Triages patients, manages emergency situations, and provides health education and counseling.
• Execute delegated medical functions, including administering medications and therapies, and coordinate patient care by referring to specialists or community resources as needed.
• Lead care coordination, promote effective nursing practices, and advocate for patients.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of one year of RN experience, including operating room expertise.
• Graduate of an approved RN program with clinical experience, holding an active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong customer service skills, knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques, and ability to work with interruptions and lifting patients.
