IR Technician

Position Summary: Performs imaging procedures and provides patient services using various imaging modalities. Maintains and operates imaging equipment, ensuring safety and proper sterilization. Contributes to patient education and upholds confidentiality. Works under supervision of the Clinical Coordinator in a clinical setting, requiring mechanical and electrical dexterity.

Qualifications And Skills

• Completion of formal imaging training from an AMA-approved program.
• Certification from ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB; valid state license.
• Knowledge of human development stages and continuous education.
• Ability to operate and maintain imaging equipment safely.
• Physical ability to perform medium work activities such as standing, walking, lifting, and pushing.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
