Seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology.
Responsibilities Include
- Preparing and positioning patients for procedures
- Operating imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound
- Assisting with sterile procedures and passing instruments
- Monitoring vital signs and procedural details
- Administering contrast media and ensuring radiation safety
- Maintaining imaging equipment and procedural supplies
- Collaborating with healthcare team to ensure patient care
- Following safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols
- Providing patient education
- Minimum one year recent IR tech experience
- Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: ACLS, PALS/ENPC, radiologic technologist license
- Critical thinking, communication, and technical skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in team environments
- Support complex vascular and non-vascular procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain documentation and equipment readiness
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards
