The Role
We’re looking for a thoughtful, technically skilled professional to join our Trust & Estate team. In this role, you’ll support the development, delivery, and implementation of estate planning strategies for high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is known for exceptional attention to detail and strong relationship-building skills.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Senior Trust & Estate Strategists and Advisors to support estate planning strategies for HNW clients
- Participate in and help facilitate client meetings focused on estate planning, wealth transfer, and charitable giving
- Review estate planning documents, identify planning opportunities, and prepare summary analyses
- Coordinate with outside counsel to support drafting, revising, and executing estate planning documents
- Provide guidance on account titling, trust funding, and asset ownership best practices
- Assist with estate settlement and trust administration as needed
- Support special projects and one-off client requests related to trust and estate planning
- Collaborate with Advisors, Client Service Associates, and external professionals to implement planning strategies
- Stay current on estate planning fundamentals and pursue continuing education
- Participate in internal training, process development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
What You Bring
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 3 years of experience
- Prior experience with estate planning in community property states is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, gifting strategies, and tax considerations
- Experience collaborating with clients and external professionals, including attorneys and CPAs
- High attention to detail, project management skills, and strong communication abilities
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple iOS tools
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated base salary range for this role is $125,000 – $214,000 per year. Base salaries are determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Many roles are also eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
