The Role
We’re looking for a seasoned tax professional to join our Tax Services team. In this role, you’ll provide technical tax review, strategic tax guidance, and oversight of a growing client list. The ideal candidate thrives in a detail-driven, client-centric environment and is known for sound judgment and strong communication skills.
What You’ll Do
- Review complex individual and business tax returns
- Deliver tax planning and advisory support to clients and financial advisors
- Assess client situations holistically to guide strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across teams to align tax strategies with broader financial goals
- Manage multiple client relationships and support audit responses
- Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence, and IRS/tax authority submissions
- Train, supervise, and evaluate staff
- Support process improvements and contribute to department growth
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- CPA license
- 7 years of public accounting and tax experience
- Tax audit experience
- Experience working in RIA environments or with financial advisors
- Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
- Proficiency in CCH Axcess, BNA Income Planner, and MS Office
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals and complex entities
- Emotional maturity and strong presentation skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated base salary range for this role is $120,000 – $155,000 per year. Base salaries are determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Many roles are also eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
