The Role
We’re looking for a results-driven accounting professional to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll support daily accounting operations, deliver accurate financial information, and help maintain strong financial controls across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is known for attention to detail, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This position is expected to work 20-25 hours per week on a regular schedule, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed during busier times of the month.
What You’ll Do
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit card expense entries
- Assist with the month-end close process and preparation of financial statements
- Support cash flow reporting and perform account reconciliations and analyses
- Prepare supporting schedules for annual audits and external reporting requirements
- Assist with quarterly regulatory filings
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned by the Finance team
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–2 years of accounting experience; a combination of industry and public accounting experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
- CPA or CPA candidate status is a plus, but not required
- Ability to leverage AI tools and technology to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $22.69 - $31.20 per hour. Rates are based on job relation, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for variable pay.
