We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position plays a critical role in preparing homes for new residents, ensuring each property is in excellent condition and move-in ready. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete make-ready tasks to ensure vacant properties are move-in ready, including general repairs, painting, cleaning, and inspections.
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across assigned properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Handle carpentry, flooring, drywall, and minor renovation projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and safety standards.
- Respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally.
- Document work performed and communicate major repair needs to management.
- Uphold the company’s reputation for exceptional service and resident satisfaction.
- Experience: 2 years in residential maintenance, make-ready, or related trade work.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general property repair.
- Preferred Certifications: HVAC certification, EPA certification, or other relevant trade credentials.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work independently.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
