What are the responsibilities and job description for the AHA BLS Instructors position at Northlake Behavioral Health System?
Position: AHA BLS Instructor
Schedule: NBHS holds BLS classes every other Tuesday afternoon for new employees. Depending on class size, one to two instructors are needed for each class. Additional recertification classes are held monthly for existing employees.
Northlake Behavioral Health System is currently hiring certified AHA BLS Instructors to lead Basic Life Support classes for our staff.
Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging and compliant AHA BLS training for employees
Track attendance and certification completion
Maintain training equipment and materials. Notify Educator when more materials need to be ordered.
Requirements:
Current AHA BLS Instructor Certification
Experience teaching BLS to healthcare providers or EMS
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Reliable and organized
Upbeat attitude that encourages
