Project Overview / Contractor’s Role: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to support the IT organization by documenting end to end processes, procedures, and controls aligned to SDAM and SDLC requirements. This role partners with the Implementation Lead, SDAM/SDLC teams, and Data Analysts to ensure documentation is clear, auditable, sustainable, and automation ready. The Business Analyst must be able to work across multiple, parallel initiatives and connect the dots between SDLC audit remediation, RCSA, BAU documentation, controls, and AI enabled metrics and compliance efforts to support a single, coherent operating model. Key Outcomes • Audit ready process and procedure documentation • Clearly defined and embedded controls aligned to SDAM / SDLC • Documentation that directly supports Technology Administration RCSA evidence • Processes designed to support metrics, automation, and AI enablement • Sustainable remediation solutions aligned to BAU operations Qualifications (must haves): Technical & Functional • Business Analyst experience supporting IT, SDLC, audit, or governance initiatives • Strong experience documenting processes, procedures, and controls • Working knowledge of SDAM / SDLC concepts • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills • Experience with metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks • Analytical & Soft Skills • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Ability to synthesize and connect information across audit, risk, controls, BAU, and AI/metrics initiatives • Comfortable working in audit and compliance driven environments Working Style & Traits • Big picture thinker who understands how initiatives interconnect • Audit and remediation aware, focused on evidence and sustainability • Connector and translator across audit, risk, IT, data, and delivery teams • Pragmatic and solutions oriented, focused on long term improvements Tasks & Responsibilities Audit, Risk & Remediation Support • Analyze and document SDLC audit issues, remediation actions, and evidence expectations • Translate audit and RCSA findings into practical process and documentation updates • Define remediation activities, ownership, dependencies, and required evidence • Maintain traceability between audit issues, risks, controls, procedures, and metrics Process, Controls & Documentation • Document current and future state IT processes and procedures • Develop structured documentation (process flows, narratives, RACI, control mappings) • Identify, design, and document systematic, defensible controls • Standardize documentation to support consistency and reuse across teams Metrics, Automation & AI Enablement • Ensure processes support auditability, explainability, and regulatory expectations • Align AI enabled metrics initiatives with SDLC, RCSA, BAU documentation, and controls • Design processes with metrics capture as a core requirement • Partner with Data Analysts to embed automation and reporting into processes Microsoft 365 Enablement • Leverage Microsoft 365 tools to develop and maintain documentation and reporting assets: o SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Planner • Ensure documentation is scalable, reusable, and version controlled
