What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSC Coordinator position at Northern Tier Counseling Inc?
Coordinator of Decision Support Center (DSC), will provide supervision to Peer Specialists working in the DSC as well as work in the DSC. DSC is designed to provide a recovery focused, shared decision-making process utilizing the Common Ground Approach, via computer assisted technologies, peer support, and collaboration with medication clinic and treatment team.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Organize, convene, and facilitate consumer use of the Decision Support
Center.
2. Supervise and train Peer Specialist working in the DSC.
3. Create and maintain a staffing schedule for the DSC while ensuring there is
adequate staffing for program needs, and to cover call-offs and scheduled time-off.
4. Provide technical assistance to agency participants and staff regarding the use of the DSC software, decision aids and other DSC services.
5. Consult with key personnel and other partner organizations involved in implementation and research objectives.
6. Establish and maintain a system for tracking project activities, progress, and
outcomes.
7. Attend regular agency management meetings, participate in staffing and coordinate activities with agency medical staff and treatment teams.
8. Provide direct consultation and technical assistance to agency staff regarding the use of the DSC.
9. Provide written and verbal reports, technical assistance, trainings and materials to stakeholders.
10. Document content of service and consumer progress in a progress note.
11. Employee will be proficient in their job position within six (6) months. If at
any time an employee feels they need more training/education, employee is
to submit a request for such through their supervisor, manager, and/or
director.
Salary : $42,112 - $62,461
