- Current CPR (or attained within 3 months of employment).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous hospital NA experience
Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services in caring for personal needs and comfort of patients. Works under the direction of the registered nurse. Frequent moving, lifting and positioning of patients as well as pushing and pulling of wheelchairs and stretchers along with additional equipment. Assigned patients may be from neonate through geriatrics. Involves clerical duties in relation to admission, transfer, and daily care of patients on assigned unit. Hours of work and length of shift may vary from the established schedule and days of work.
