REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current CPR certification or attained in three months of employment
-
Current license to practice in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse
-
ACLS and PALS certification, or within six months of hire
-
Leadership/management experience
-
Five years of experience as a registered nurse
-
One year supervisory experience
-
Hospital experience within last five years
-
Notary Public, or obtained within 3 months of hire
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSN

Certification in a specialty area or Nursing Administration
Supervision and coordination of personnel who provide direct patient care during assigned shift. Secures needed supplies and resources not readily available on nursing units. Participates in planning for staffing of upcoming shifts. Coordinates bed control and patient flow during periods of high census. Serves as spokesperson for the hospital to media and community agencies during assigned shift. Assures the daily federal covid reports are submitted through the federal and state portals. Works long and/or irregular hours to assure that the department functions smoothly.
Salary : $63,032 - $80,694
