Position Summary
Northern Ohio Recovery Association (NORA), a nonprofit organization committed to promoting long-
term recovery and wellness through peer-based support and evidence-based treatment services, is
seeking an experienced and dynamic Case Manager. This role will be responsible for acting as the
primary client advocate, keeps abreast of progress, coordinates all services delivered to the client both
internally and through external referral and model recovery principles and prosocial behavior.
Key Responsibilities
● Ensuring that clients receive all appropriate services and coordinating services provided by ancillary
agencies.
● Coordinating and participating in treatment planning and reviews with entire treatment team and
consulting with each client concerning attainment of treatment plan goals and objectives.
● Conducting needs assessments and preparing service plans.
● Providing individual and group counseling with respect to case management and life skill
development of the discharge plan in coordination with other treatment team members.
● Providing individual and group counseling with respect to case management and life skill
development. Along with the primary therapist, assuring implementation of behavioral
management strategies.
● Maintaining clients’ charts in compliance with agency, state, and local guidelines and regulations.
● Attending and participating in training activities, staff meetings, and supervisory sessions and
performance improvement activities.
● Other duties as assigned.
● Responsible for helping monitor residents for any potential warning signs concerning the recurrence
of symptoms and refer them for more support.
Qualifications
● High school diploma, associates degree preferred
● CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) Certification Required
● Two Years experience in chemical dependency treatment
● Basic understanding of the core functions of effective programming
Preferred Skills
● Four years experience working with youth in the community and/or school based prevention
programs

Salary Range
● This is a paid position and salary will be rated based on experience
Salary : $45,000 - $48,000
