Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Amada Press Brake Set-Up Operator for our 2nd or 3rd shift team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating Amada press brake equipment to bend, form, and produce precision sheet metal parts according to blueprints, job travelers, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and on-time production.
Schedule
- 2nd shift schedule – flexible. (4) 10’s 3:30pm – 2:00a, or (5) 8’s 3:30pm – 12:00am
- 3rd shift schedule - 10:30pm - 7:00am Sunday - Thursday
- Full-time position
- Overtime may be available based on production needs
Key Responsibilities
· Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to form sheet metal parts to print and specification.
· Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, job travelers, bend sequence information, and inspection requirements.
· Select, install, and align proper tooling, dies, and fixtures for each job.
· Make machine adjustments to maintain part quality, dimensional accuracy, and production efficiency.
· Maintain accurate production documentation, including quantities, scrap, setup information, and quality checks.
· Identify and report equipment, tooling, material, or quality issues to supervision.
· Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, safe material handling, and lockout/tagout requirements as applicable.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
· Previous press brake set-up and operation experience required; Amada experience strongly preferred.
· Ability to read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings, and production documentation.
· Knowledge of sheet metal forming, bend allowances, tooling selection, and press brake safety practices.
· Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, height gauges, or similar inspection equipment.
· Strong shop math skills, including fractions, decimals, angles, and basic geometry.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize jobs, and maintain quality standards in a production environment.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
· Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials as required for the role.
· Ability to bend, reach, grip, and handle sheet metal parts safely.
· Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with appropriate PPE.

Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
