The Northern Arizona University Facility Services Custodial Department
is currently hiring one (1) full-time benefit eligible Custodial Manager
in the Academic Buildings. The Custodial Department\'s goal is to
provide a clean, attractive and healthy learning environment. University
employees are responsible for maintaining the highest ethical standards
of conduct and are expected to practice professionalism, integrity,
trustworthiness, respect, stewardship, compliance, confidentiality, and
respect to maintain a safe and trusting environment.
**About the Position**
The Academic Custodial Manager position reports to the Assistant
Director of Maintenance and Operations in Facility Services and directs
a team of staff and student custodians on a daily basis. This position
oversees the daily activities of custodial services including: providing
leadership, handling administrative duties, personnel management
including hiring, providing training, interacting positively with the
campus community, ensuring safe operations, and overseeing operational
duties This position will assist and advise the Assistant Director of
Facilities and Maintenance in fulfilling Facility Services\' mission to
Northern Arizona University by practicing sustainable maintenance and
operations methods, ensuring a clean, healthy and safe work environment,
providing excellent customer service, adopting industry best practices,
following policies and procedures, and empowering the custodial
workforce. The successful candidate will be required to work **4am till
1pm - Monday through Friday with occasional weekend support**.
