and Grounds Department is currently hiring one (1) full-time benefit
eligible Maintenance Coordinator, Intermediate. The Custodial and
Grounds Departmental goals are to provide a clean, attractive and

**About the Position**
The Maintenance Coordinator, Intermediate position reports to the
Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance and assists in the
creation and coordination of information within the Custodial and
Grounds Departments designed to meet specific goals. This position
ensures the implementation of policies and practices, and assists in
conducting oversight, review, and analysis of the effectiveness and/or
compliance of the departmental programs and processes. The successful
candidate will be required to work 4am till 1pm - Monday through Friday.
**Responsibilities Include**
50% - Planning, Scheduling and Process
Demonstrates dedication to the development of sustainable operations and
maintenance practices.
Participates in establishing and scheduling major custodial and grounds
projects.
Inspects building , rooms, storage space, hallways, fixtures, and
custodial equipment to observe the results of work.
Inspects buildings, sheds, storage space and grounds equipment to
observe the results of work.
Manages and tracks key tasks and workloads across the departments.
Assists in the development of program content or processes; monitors
metrics and performance; maintains operation of the assigned program or
process.
Contributes to the development of program/process policies and
standards; upholds these policies and standards with fellow employees,
customers, or other stakeholders.
If applicable, ensures program/process compliance with all applicable
university, state, federal, or other laws, rules, regulations, and
guidelines.
Delivers presentations to communicate information about the programs and
processes.
Trains and advises others on program/process guidelines and details.
Gathers, researches, summarizes, and analyzes information regarding
program/process; calculates statistics and compiles data to prepare
special and/or recurring reports.
May schedule and participate in meetings or committees on behalf of the
programs.
Minor maintenance and repair of custodial and grounds equipment.
Oversees recycle program.
Oversees big belly program.
