Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse located at the Evaluation and Treatment facility in Mount Carmel Hospital located in Colville, Washington. The E&T provides inpatient evaluation and treatment services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for people with acute symptoms of a mental disorder. The Registered Nurse will provide direct treatment services in an inpatient setting to adults experiencing serious acute and chronic mental disorders. This includes evaluation and triage of admitted psychiatric patients, providing assessments and medication management including the involuntary administration of medications following appropriate protocols and procedures. You will coordinate with a patient’s care team on their treatment plan and support in creating a safe and effective treatment environment for both staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Washington State licensed RN
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred. AAS or equivalent nursing degree at associate level required.
- Current CPR certification required
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in administering medications and managing patient care
- Experience in maintaining medical records and documentation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
