Position Overview
The Project Architect will be responsible for:
- Establishing design direction and maintaining conceptual clarity throughout all phases
- Technical implementation of design intent
- Communicate clearly and confidently—both visually and verbally—with clients
- Coordinate consultant teams and ensure quality control of documentation
- Contributing to strategic growth initiatives within the firm
- BIM modeling efforts, and drawing production in Revit
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and construction documents for design conformance
- Perform or oversee construction administration tasks (RFIs, submittals, change orders, site visits, etc.)
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect (or in process)
- 8 years of professional experience in an architectural practice
- LEED AP or Passive House Consultant certification (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in housing, higher education, and/or civic projects
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team structure
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Revit
- Rhino
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Excel
- Bluebeam
- Strong understanding of:
- Construction methods and detailing
- Building codes and zoning principles
- Building science and sustainable technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Salary range: $73,000 – $95,000Compensation will be commensurate with experience, certifications, and technical expertise.
