Position Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition.
- Accurately document medication administration and resident information.
- Communicate resident concerns and status changes to the nursing team.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in a safe and organized manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care to residents and families.
- Current Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
- Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or senior healthcare preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
