Maintenance Worker/Landscaper

Position Summary:
The Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for the care and upkeep of the golf course grounds, facilities, and equipment. This role ensures that playing conditions are maintained at a high standard, creating an enjoyable and safe environment for golfers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, raking, and bunker grooming.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
• Assist with irrigation duties including watering, monitoring, and repairing sprinkler systems.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and seed under the direction of the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Maintain landscaping around greens, tees, fairways, and clubhouse areas.
• Set up and change hole locations, tee markers, and maintain course accessories.
• Report any course damage, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
• Support special projects such as aeration, topdressing, and sod work.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous golf course or landscaping experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
• Ability to operate small equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor setting with exposure to weather, chemicals, and machinery.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
