Pro Shop Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen interest in retail operations. As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience while maintaining the shop's inventory and operations.

Duties

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
• Sell merchandise, including sports equipment, apparel, and accessories, while effectively communicating product features and benefits.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure the shop is well-organized and fully stocked.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and processing credit card payments. Currently we are using Lightspeed for our tee sheet and POS.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory counts and assist in pricing products accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, addressing customer inquiries and providing information about products or services.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic retail math concepts.
• A proactive attitude towards learning about products and enhancing sales techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
