What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Coordinator position at NorthCare?
Are you creative, outgoing, and love bringing joy to others? We’re looking for someone with a background in elementary education, daycare, or a similar hands-on, engaging role to join our team as an Activities Coordinator. You’ll plan and lead daily activities that make a real difference in the lives of our residents, helping them stay socially, mentally, and physically engaged.
What You’ll Do
- Design and lead meaningful daily activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
- Encourage participation and create a sense of community through fun, stimulating programs.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure activities are accessible for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive or physical challenges.
- Learn residents’ preferences and abilities to continually adapt and improve programs.
- Keep simple records to track participation and feedback for program development.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
