About the role
Design and lead a vibrant program of activities, events, and lifelong learning for assisted living and memory care residents.
You’ll build a high-participation calendar across creativity, social connection, movement, mindfulness, spirituality, and cognitive engagement.
What you’ll do
Plan and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity calendars
Lead groups, facilitate engagement, and coach teammates/volunteers
Incorporate arts, music, exercise, mindfulness, and spiritual outlets
Create opportunities for continuous learning and family/friend engagement
Manage budgets for supplies and labor; track participation metrics
Promote events and communicate with residents and families
Skills & attributes
Program design with creativity and leadership
Group facilitation and persuasive communication
Proficient in MS Office; able to learn new software
Team-building with customer service focus
Adaptable; able to balance priorities and deadlines
Relatable experience
Activity coordination, recreational therapy, or event planning
Leadership roles balancing service and project goals
Experience facilitating groups and understanding group dynamics
Senior living or healthcare programming
Qualifications
At least 21 years of age
2 years in customer service, event planning, or group leadership
Current negative TB test; able to pass a criminal background check
Valid driver’s license with qualifying abstract
Strong time management and leadership track record
