Our client, located in Weehawken, NJ, is looking to hire a Paralegal to support their commercial real estate business. This individual will play a key role in supporting property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing transactions, financing matters, and corporate governance activities. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced real estate environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, and financing transactions.
- Review and prepare purchase agreements, lease agreements, amendments, estoppels, SNDA agreements, and closing documents.
- Coordinate due diligence reviews, including title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, environmental reports, and property documentation
- Manage transaction closing checklists and track critical deadlines.
- Review title and survey matters and assist with resolution of title objections
- Coordinate with outside counsel, lenders, title companies, brokers, tenants, and other stakeholders
- Maintain corporate records and legal files
- Assist with entity formation, annual filings, and corporate governance documentation
- Support lease administration and contract management processes
- Conduct legal research and prepare correspondence and reports as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or Paralegal Certificate
- 3–7 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate finance transaction
- Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and closing document
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
