What You'll Do
As our Personal Lines Customer Service & Operations Specialist, you'll serve as the first point of contact for clients while supporting the agency through a variety of administrative and insurance-related responsibilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcome and assist clients in person and over the phone with professionalism and friendliness.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Manage daily electronic communications from insurance carriers and maintain accurate client records.
- Update and maintain the agency management system.
- Process customer payments through carrier websites.
- Invoice premium-bearing items.
- Assist agents with rating, correspondence, policy support, and other administrative tasks.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and service requests.
- Maintain organized customer files and agency records.
- Keep the reception area professional and welcoming.
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of customer service experience
- 3–5 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to quickly learn agency procedures and software systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Formerly licensed candidates with recent insurance experience are encouraged to apply
