Role Description The Personal Lines Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Victoria, MN. This position is responsible for managing personal lines accounts, including auto and home policies, from quoting and binding coverage to servicing renewals and policy changes. Day-to-day tasks include responding to client inquiries, reviewing coverage options, processing endorsements, and assisting with claims reporting and follow-up. The role involves maintaining accurate client records, ensuring compliance with carrier and agency guidelines, and proactively identifying opportunities for coverage improvements and cross-selling. The Account Manager collaborates with producers, carriers, and other team members to deliver timely, accurate, and friendly service to clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal lines insurance account management, including auto and home policies, with strong knowledge of coverage options and underwriting guidelines.
- Proficiency with insurance agency management systems, carrier portals, and standard office software (e.g., CRM tools, email, spreadsheets, and document management).
- Strong client service skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain coverage details in accessible language.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in policy documentation, data entry, and follow-through on client requests.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment, collaborate with colleagues and carriers, and maintain professionalism with all clients.
- State property and casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe) and prior agency or carrier experience preferred.
