Dispatching
- Dispatches Security Personnel to emergencies, routine requests for service using telephone and radio communications; document requests and activities using personal computers; serves as a way-finding guide for patients and visitors; serves as a back-up for the CARE Line customer feedback service Customer Service:
- The Incumbent will receive and assist visitors, families with information and handles phone calls for the Care Line. Public Assistance:
- Serves as an Information Center for patients and visitors in the hospital CCTV and Alarms:
- Observes Closed Circuit Television coverage inside and outside facilities, parking areas and grounds.
- This position monitors, acknowledges, and dispatches assistance to all fire, duress, and intrusion alarms Requirements:
- H.S. diploma; experience and training in Security or Basic Law Enforcement
- Completion of the following within one year:
- Non-violent crisis intervention certification
- Departmental orientation and training standards (includes written and oral testing)
- Central Station Alarm Monitoring Certification
