Job Purpose

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently maintained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, wellstocked, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Execute merchandising standards and product displays that maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Efficiently process cash, credit card, and other transactions using a POS system.
- Complete accurate opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation.
- Supervise and support Sales Associates during daily operations.
- Foster a positive, productive, and teamoriented work environment.
- Train, coach, and develop staff through regular feedback and performance coaching.
- Delegate work effectively, provide clear direction, and follow up to ensure tasks are completed.
- Manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
- Communicate effectively with store leadership and other North Kent Connect departments.
- Ensure organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed.
- Help achieve store sales and operational goals.
- Report on sales performance, staffing needs, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement store initiatives and organizational priorities.
- Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate stock and store supply levels.
- Lead seasonal and holiday merchandise transitions.
- Previous retail experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
- Fluent in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced retail environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient with pointofsale systems and cash handling.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Available to work store hours, including Saturdays
