Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients while adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging procedures based on patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including medical history and imaging results.
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
- Assist in various imaging modalities such as C-arm procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures to patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort during examinations.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging technologies.
Experience
- Licensed radiologic technologist
- Proven experience as an X-ray Technician within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and diagnostic evaluation processes is essential.
- Experience in orthopedics is desirable.
