Line Cook/Prep Cook

Cook — North End Juice Co. | Richmond, VA (Museum District)

North End Juice Co. has been serving up fresh, healthy food in Richmond's Museum District for the past month, and business is picking up. As some of our team head back to school, we're looking for a cook to join our crew and help us keep up with the neighborhood's warm welcome.

What you'll do:

You'll be responsible for preparing our food menu... think breakfast burritos, avocado toast, Turkey sandwiches and other fresh, simple, health focused dishes. This isn't a fine dining kitchen, it's a fast paced, fun environment where quality and consistency matter. You'll work closely with the rest of the team to make sure every plate that goes out meets our standards. During slower periods you may rotate to front of house, customer facing responsibilities — helping at the counter, interacting with guests, and contributing wherever the team needs you most.

What we're looking for:

You don't need a culinary degree or fine dining experience. What you do need is:

• Some prior kitchen or food prep experience... you know your way around a commercial kitchen
• A genuine care for food quality and presentation
• The ability to work quickly and consistently during busy periods
• A team first attitude — this is a small crew and everyone pitches in
• Comfort interacting with customers when needed
• Passion for fresh, healthy food and an appreciation for doing things right
• Reliability. Showing up on time and ready to work every shift
