Work involves individual and classroom instruction of youth in a correctional facility. Subject taught will be Social Studies. Position is a long-term substitute for the remainder of the school year. Last day of school is May 28, 2027.
Duties and Tasks
- Participate in curriculum development.
- Develop course objectives and prepare lesson plans.
- Plan and implement instructional methods and strategies used in teaching.
- Participate in teacher meetings, teacher trainings, and other required meetings.
- Tutor students as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain scholastic records.
- Prepare and maintain reports as required.
- Sub in other classrooms as necessary.
