    Summary of Work

    Work involves individual and classroom instruction of youth in a correctional facility. Subject taught will be Social Studies. Position is a long-term substitute for the remainder of the school year. Last day of school is May 28, 2027.

    Duties and Tasks

    • Participate in curriculum development.
    • Develop course objectives and prepare lesson plans.
    • Plan and implement instructional methods and strategies used in teaching.
    • Participate in teacher meetings, teacher trainings, and other required meetings.
    • Tutor students as necessary.
    • Prepare and maintain scholastic records.
    • Prepare and maintain reports as required.
    • Sub in other classrooms as necessary.

    Minimum Qualifications

    This long-term substitute position requires a teaching license valid in the State of North Dakota.
