    What You’ll Do

    As a Corrections Officer, you will:

    • Serve as a positive, pro-social role model for residents, build rapport, observe behavior, and apply dynamic security principles, maintain the safety and security of residents, staff, and the community, work as part of a cohesive, supportive team of professionals, uphold standards that support rehabilitation and personal growth.

    What You Need To Apply

    • A high school diploma or GED
    • The ability to complete all pre-employment requirements, including a background check and fingerprinting
    • A commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork

    No experience? No problem — we provide all the training you need, and you’ll be paid while you learn. Starting pay is determined by your experience and education.

    Candidates who are North Dakota residents and eligible for veteran’s preference must upload a DD-214. Those claiming disabled veteran’s preference must also provide a current statement of disabled status from the VA.
