Director of Nursing (DON) Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee resident care with a proactive, “hands-on” management style.
Develop, review, and revise nursing and clinical policies in accordance with current standards.
Manage nursing staff schedules and adapt as needed during staff shortages or emergencies.
