Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Laborer to join our team with the opportunity to grow into a Carpenter Apprentice. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the trades, specifically in drywall and general carpentry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with drywall installation, taping, and finishing
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed
- Clean and organize company tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Support various phases of residential and commercial construction projects
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic hand tool knowledge (preferred but not required)
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
