Virtual Special Educator - Grades 9 through 12

The North Country Supervisory Union is seeking a Special Education teacher committed to creating and supporting an inclusive environment for students in grades 9 through 12, while also providing targeted specialized instruction and supports within the areas of identified need. This position will be a virtual position where the teacher could be providing services remotely through online platforms or doing case management. The ideal candidates would possess strong collaborative skills, have experience delivering remedial instruction in math, reading, and written expression and maintain data collection systems for academic and behavioral progress monitoring. Candidates should also demonstrate strong case management skills and knowledge of special education law and procedures. Must have or be eligible for appropriate Vermont licensure. Salary range is between $49,970 and $89,460 depending on previous experience and education.
