What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Transporation Director position at North Country Supervisory Union?
NCUHS has an opening for a year-round transportation director. Position officially begins July 1, 2026 but some training with the current coordinator could occur prior to the transition. Position summary: Maintain the bus fleet in excellent and safe condition and supervise transportation staff to the benefit of the school system and student programs. Some duties will be for NCSU Special Services, for which the candidate would receive an additional stipend.Minimum qualifications: 1.Class B Commercial Drivers License with air brake and passenger endorsements2.Vermont School bus endorsement and valid DOT medical card.3.Basic knowledge relating to maintenance of school busses4.Minimum of two (2) successful years of supervisory experience5.Familiarity with all rules and regulations pertaining to CDLs as well as rules and regulations specific to operation of school busses.
