Qualifications:
1. Associate degree or higher plus five (5) years of experience with large-scale, commercial/institutional custodial and maintenance experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
2. Past experience with facility planning, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of custodial/facility management principles, best practices, and related regulations and policies required.
4.Clear written, oral, interpersonal, and communication skills to disseminate information, interpret documents, collaborate with stakeholders, and resolve conflicts
5. Self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong technology skills.
Position Summary: This role serves as a key advisor supporting various NCSU operational functions, including transportation, school safety, vendor management, coordination with city, state and federal agencies, and insurance. The position collaborates with school buildings facilities’ staff and administrators to meet building needs and ensure safe, equitable learning environments for all students. Responsibilities include strategic and improvement planning, monitoring, researching state and federal requirements, disseminating information, and supporting safety and energy management initiatives.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, 40 hours a week, salary position. Salary and benefits are regionally competitive and commensurate with experience. Salary range will be between $90,000 and $95,000.
