What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Administrator position at North Central Service Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for all employees accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status
- Calculate and process employee benefits, such as health insurance and retirement contributions
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any payroll-related issues
- Prepare payroll reports for management review
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Proficient in using payroll software (e.g., Ceridian, Paychex)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
