What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Therapist position at NORTH CENTRAL BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEM?
SALARY: $24.01 (Exact salary calculation is made based on education, and experience)
HOURS: 1st Shift 8:30AM- 5:00PM and 1 evening shift 10:30AM- 7:00PM
Position Overview:
- Performs clinical assessment and diagnosis
- Performs individual psychotherapy, addictions counseling or family intervention
- Consultation and Coordination of services with team members
- Treatment planning and staffing
- Manages caseload consisting of adults and youth with behavioral health and/or substance use diagnosis.
Qualifications:
- Required Minimum of master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or marriage and family therapy and experience in addictions treatment.
- Preferred State of Illinois Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or License Marriage and Family Therapist
- Preferred knowledge/experience with dual (mental health and addictions) disorders.
