Position Overview:
Provides treatment services to adults and youth identified with behavioral health or substance use diagnosis. Completes assessment and treatment planning. Provides both individual and group therapy.
Duties
- Performs clinical assessment and diagnosis
- Performs individual psychotherapy, addictions counseling or family intervention
- Consultation and Coordination of services with team members
- Treatment planning and staffing
- Manages caseload consisting of adults and youth with behavioral health and/or substance use diagnosis.
- Completes documentation and adheres to regulatory requirements for provision of services

Qualifications:
- Required Bachelor?s degree in social work, psychology or counseling; and currently enrolled in a Master degree program in social work, psychology, marriage and family or counseling
- Preferred Minimum of Master?s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy and experience in addictions treatment.
- Preferred State of Illinois Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or License Marriage and Family Therapist
- Preferred knowledge/experience with dual (mental health and addictions) disorders.
