What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engagement Specialist position at NORTH CENTRAL BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SYSTEM?
Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00PM- 10:30PM, Canton
Salary: Starting at $15.00 (Exact salary calculation is based on education, credentials, and experience).
Position Overview:
? Serves as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to promote long-term recovery
? Work with individuals on how to verbalize triggers and warning signs and be willing to openly review these in acceptable settings.
? Assist with development of safety plan and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and tool box
? Provide support during crisis event by working with crisis intervention specialist to verbally coach individuals on management of stress and current problem
? Provide follow up care to individuals previously experiencing crisis event to ensure linkage to appropriate services and to review crisis safety plan
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or GED
? Personal experience related to Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorders.
? CRSS certification and WRAP certification in 2 years from hire.
