What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Administrator position at North Carolina Office of the State Auditor?
The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is looking for a Cloud Administrator to join the Information Technology Division.
As part of our team, you will get to:
- Identify and mitigate potential threats, system vulnerabilities
- Assist with the OSA's disaster recovery and business continuity plan
- Maintain acceptable configurations and identify deviations
- Maintain compliance to legislative requirements, internal OSA policies, and State directives
- Manage other special divisional projects and initiatives as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
- Documented experience managing virtual machines, including vulnerability and patch management
- Proven ability to provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks, intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities
- Working knowledge in developing, documenting, and maintaining processes, procedures and standards
Management Preferences:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Suite
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive experience in systems software programming
OR
Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of progressive experience in systems software programming
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary : $72,993 - $109,490
