Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position | The Professional Writing Consultant will provide writing assistance to graduate and undergraduate students. The Professor Writing Consultant's primary responsibility will be to assist graduate students and undergraduate students who are producing complex research projects and preparing for standardized test such as the Praxis Core Writing exam. |

Two primary goals of the USSO include increasing first-year retention and four-year graduation rates. The University Writing Center plays an essential role in this initiative. |
